Mr.Richard Hollywood

Executive Dean, City University College, Qatar

Richard has over 26 years’ experience in a range of senior leadership and quality management roles within Further and Higher Education across the UK and Internationally. He has held positions at every level of education from part-time teacher to CEO and Principal and has achieved performance improvement and sustainable growth for a number of learning organisations; leading on large and complex projects such as qualification reforms and frameworks, organisational restructures, quality improvement plans, college mergers, major building plans, and a range of Government and European Social Funded contracts. He has a wide and extensive range of Senior Leadership experience with a deep understanding of the Further Education and Higher Education sectors and of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the UK and internationally. He has been Executive Dean of City University College in Doha since September 2020 and in partnership with Ulster University in the UK, is building a new Technology and Innovation Hub which will embrace the new and emerging technologies associated with Industry 4.0.

Mr.Mike Saxer

Chief Engineering Officer,Practeria Limited, United Kingdom

Mike Saxer has over 25 years’ experience in Advanced Manufacturing with special focus on CNC and manufacturing technologies. He is a senior production engineer and CNC specialist with experience gained in Switzerland, South Africa, and the UK. He spent a 10-year tenure in Academia where he reached the position of Principle Technical Manager of the Department of Industrial Engineering and the Stellenbosch Technology Centre at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. He spent 2 years as a Manufacturing Operations Consultant in Saudi Arabia to establish an Innovation Centre for Industry 4.0. He brings with him a passion for advanced manufacturing and skills development always looking to utilise the latest technologies and advancements. Especially with the hype around Industry 4.0 and digital transformation he hopes to improve both productivity within companies in manufacturing as well as improving the learner experience around skills development in this field.

Dr. Veena R

Faculty of Integrated Technologies,University of Brunei, Brunei

Dr. Veena Raj is a lecturer in (Info communication System) at the Faculty of Integrated Technologies, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. She has Bachelor’s in Electronics & Communication from the Anna University, Chennai, India and Masters in Applied Electronics from the Anna University, Chennai, India. She took her Doctoral degree in Systems Engineering from the Faculty of Integrated Technologies, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. Focus of her research is on the application of Artificial Intelligence in designing and managing renewable energy systems. She also has keen interest in applying various Machine Learning methods to resolve complex real life problems. She has several publications in these areas. In her Doctoral research, she developed an AI based short-term wind power forecasting system for predicting the performance of large wind farms with high accuracy levels. This hybrid system integrated Numerical Weather Prediction models with wind farm and turbine models to forecast the productivity of wind farms in shorter time intervals. The developed method, with the novel concept of cascaded input approach, was successfully applied in a large wind farm in Europe. Prior to joining UBD, Dr. Veena has served as a faculty at different Engineering colleges in India. At UBD, she was attached to the UBD IBM Centre, which was a research collaboration between the Universiti Brunei Darussalam and IBM.

Dr. Zahra Rashid Said Al Rawahi

Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Artificial Intelligence Academy GmbH

Dr. Zahra AL-Rawahi is a Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Artificial Intelligence Academy GmbH. She was a Director of Innovation Support and Innovation Capacity Building at The Research Council in Oman. Previously, she served as Director of Research of Communication and Information Technology. She was the Director of Medical Informatics Department at Sultan Qaboos University – College of Medicine & Health Sciences. She established the first Telehealth Center in the Gulf Region in 2006. She has very long experiences in strategic planning, digital transformation and teaching at Sultan Qaboos University. Dr. Al-Rawahi participated as a keynote speaker in various international conferences on the area of fourth Industrial revolution and digital transformation. Dr. Al-Rawahi holds a Ph.D in Computer Sciences and Artificial Intelligences from University of Sussex. She is also a member of many International professional organizations on ICT and Leadership.

Dr. Celestine Iwendi

Associate Professor, Bangor College, China

Celestine Iwendi (Senior Member, IEEE) received his first degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in 1998, first master in 2002 at same school. Another master’s degree in communication hardware and microsystem engineering from Uppsala University, Sweden, in 2008, ranked under 100 in the world university ranking, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics from the University of Aberdeen, U.K., in 2013. He is currently a Visiting Professor at Coal City University Enugu. An ACM Distinguished Speaker, a Senior Lecturer with the Bangor College China and Visiting Professor at Coal City University Enugu, where he has strong teaching emphasis on communication, hands-on experience, and 21 years technical expertise and teaches with strong research emphasis in Engineering team Project, circuit theory, data networks and distributed systems, Artificial intelligence, Cybersecurity, machine learning and control systems. A board member of IEEE Sweden Section and a Wireless Sensor Network Evangelist. He is a highly motivated and hardworking researcher with a Wireless Sensor Network Security book, and more than 100 publications. He is a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy, United Kingdom and listed among the top Africa Scientist by the Academiy of Science of South Africa, International Science Council Regional Office Africa

Dr R.Siva Shankar Ramasamy did MCA and PhD from Gandhigram Rural University [MHRD-India], Tamil Nadu, India. He worked at the National Institute of Technology-Trichy-620015, and Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is a Life Member of "Computer Society of India" and "International Association of Engineers". He is currently working in the International College of Digital Innovation-Chiang Mai University, Thailand. He posses 2 Research Patents and 20 Research articles. His main research work focuses on Sustainability Development, Medical Image Segmentation, IoT, Rural Reconstruction, Digital Business and Blue Economy.

Dr. K. Sharmila Reddy, is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Vaagdevi Engineering College, Telangana State, India. She obtained her Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Her areas of interest include Cryptography and Network Security, Cyber Forensics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. She has several publications in reputed national and international journals and is part of the review committee for various Journals and session chair for International Conferences. Her research activity was on fourth factor authentication and enhancing authentication in emergency. She has been granted a patent by the Government of India for her work “System and method for facilitating the user to perform an emergency transaction”

Dr. Muhammad Khalique is presently working as a Director, MUST Business School (MBS), Mirpur University of Science and Technology Mirpur (MUST) Pakistan. He is a founder of MUST Business School, MUST Entrepreneurial Incubation Center and MUST Business Research Center. He received his PhD degree from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Malaysia in 2012. He has also worked as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business Management, FEB in Universiti Malaysia Sarawak for a couple of years. He has 13 years teaching experience at national and international level. He has published more than 50 articles in international refereed journals, in conference proceedings and as book chapters. He has more than 180 citations. He is a reviewer of 12 international refereed and indexed journals. He is a member of various professional bodies. His research focuses on intellectual capital, knowledge management, entrepreneurship, innovation, SMEs & organizational performance. He worked on various research projects. He has conducted various workshops on SPSS, SEM (AMOS), PLS and Research Proposal in Malaysia & SPSS in HEC Pakistan. He has invited as a Keynote Speaker at national and international conferences.
